Bowie Baseball is a part of The Bowie Boys and Girls Club (BBGC). BBGC is a non-profit organization run entirely by volunteers. The club was established in 1963 and remains committed to its mission of character building, integrity and teamwork.
The volunteers of the baseball program work diligently to develop a fun and rewarding experience for our players. The coaches spend countless hours each season, outside of time they spend with their players each week, to plan, fundraise, organize, and further the goals of the organization. We appreciate their efforts to provide the finest experiences for the families that we serve.
Baseball has been a tradition in our country for more than 150 years and we are adamant that it should continue for many more. We would love for you and your family to join us each season to PLAY BALL.
All our coaches are required to complete background checks and training before coaching a team.
Recreation – All Head Coaches are required to complete USA Baseball Certification and background checks to coach.
Travel Coaches – All Coaches Head and Assistants are required to complete USA Baseball Certifications. We have several coaches and leadership are certified in Driveline and able to provide analytic training to players.
